Suddenly Single author Denise Chilton talks loss and relationships on Rock My Age’s podcast

Denise Chilton, who writes about how her fiancé ended their long-term relationship in Suddenly Single, told Deborah Binner of Rock My Age (and author of Yet Here I Am) how she realises losing her mother at an early age, has affected all her relationships ever since. Denise was left devastated when her partner told her he no longer loved her just after their engagement – and her 40th birthday – and was forced to navigate a new life as a single woman, something she didn’t believe she was prepared for. Yet, as she reveals in Suddenly Single, she found the strength and the tools to carve out a successful future for herself and has gone on to become a strong voice for other women who have found themselves in a similar position.
